Today is the day! Officially starting a very serious body transformation. I am doing this for a few reasons:
#1. I want to be as healthy as possible to live a long active life. I am 35 years old and realizing how short life can be. Working in healthcare I see the quality of life of people who do not care for their bodies. Life is far too short to be ill and overweight.
#2. I like feeling like I can wear anything. Anytime I have a little extra weight on my midsection I dread wearing jeans. Jeans are so much more comfortable without muffin top.
#3. I like to be different. Let's face it, most of America is out of shape and overweight. I dare to be different!!
#4. I want to be strong and lean.
I am a complete newbie at this so I felt like blogging my experiences would help me see the progress and learn what works and what does not.
I am 5 foot 6 inches tall. I weigh 123.8. A year ago I weighed 118. Where did these 5lbs come from?? Time to lose it!!!
